HOMEOPATHY
“by similars a disease arises and by administering similars people regain their health from sickness”
Hippocrates (5th Century BC)

Homeopathy is an integral medical system (diagnosis and treatment) based on unalterable natural laws and principles.
The first to do research on Homeopathy and formulate its first law, “the law of similars", was Hippocrates, the father of Medicine, who said: “by similars a disease arises and by administering similars people regain their health from sickness”.
About 200 years ago, the German doctor, professor of Medicine at the University of Leipzig, S. C. Hannhemann, revived Homeopathy and promoted it to science. He experimented on hundreds of substances by administering them to both healthy volunteers (mainly his colleagues / students) and himself, while observing and recording their clinical symptoms. He came into conclusions proving what Hippocrates had maintained. Accordingly, he formulated the first law of Homeopathy, the “law of similars” and created the first Homeopathic Pharmacology.
In a similar way (the double blind experiment), afterwards and up to now, other colleagues continued the "provings" of hundreds of substances, while enriching the homeopathic "arsenal" (over 3,500 medicines).
Homeopathic medicines are not random experimental discoveries but a validation of natural laws through scientific observation, namely experimenting and clinical proof. The human body is subject to these laws but it also incorporates them as an integral part of nature, causally triggered and acting in respect to them. According to the law of similars, “a disease is cured by the medicine that causes symptoms similar to those of the disease the medicine is used to cure”. It is a natural inviolable law, like all other natural laws, such as the law of gravity, action-reaction etc, and not a human assessment of experimental and theoretical data, or an assumption, axiom or dogma.
Homeopathy, contrary to the conventional (chemical) medical treatment of the diseases, is not focused on the symptom itself because it does not consider it to be a disease, but a proof of its existence. It examines the deeper cause of the symptom origins, looks closely into the reasons that provoked its appearance, the cause of differentiation from the previous state of balance, namely the cause of the disease.
Homeopathy scans and analyzes the patient's idiosyncrasy, namely all their physical and psycho-mental characteristics and modifications under the influence of any pathogenic factor or stress.
Under the pressure of the stress factor, the human body deviates from the dynamic health status, loses its “balance” and, by organizing its defence, shows clinical symptoms and signs. In this sense, there are no diseases - only patients.
Homeopathy is applied to all ailing organisms and all health disorders. It is effective on almost the whole range of modern pathology, from serious cases such as respiratory, urine, musculoskeletal diseases etc, to even chronic and systematic disorders such as skin, allergic, endocrine, gastrointestinal, gynaecological, neurological, psychological problems etc.
This does not mean that Homeopathy is a cure-all method. It has its own limits. The effectiveness of the treatment depends on various factors, such as the kind of the disease, heredity, age and the organism’s anaplastic ability, the possibility of reversing the damage etc, as well as on the patient’s compliance towards the treatment.
Homeopathic drugs are safe and are administered from newborns to old and weak organisms. Additionally, given their effectiveness to humans of such young age (but also to patients in a coma, to animals etc), the spiteful or even foolish claim of some people is vitiated, namely that they represent placebo treatment. Especially young age people are favoured by homeopathy’s beneficial influence on health due to the lack of chronicity.
Homeopathic drugs are ultra-dilute and “powered” solutions of natural substances, without the smallest chemical intervention. They activate the reactive-defensive mechanisms of the human body while strengthening its vital force by providing it with the ability to deal with all balance deviations from the healthy state. They namely provide high effectiveness while, at the same time, there is a complete lack of side-effects. Throughout the 200 years of practicing Homeopathy, not even one medicine has been withdrawn, contrary to the experimentation of modern medical science with the repeated revisions and withdraws.
Homeopathy, as a holistic remedial approach, is able to act both as treatment and prevention.
Given that our physical and psycho-mental balance is daily put into test, as we are more or less exposed to exogenous or endogenous factors of stress (germs, infection, radiation etc, discomforts, frustrations and other unpleasant psycho-intellectual situations), homeopathic treatment is considered not only important, but also necessary.
In conclusion, I would like to stress that a homeopathic physician collaborates with all specialists, only aiming at the patient's own gain. In case the simultaneous use of other homeopathic and allopathic drugs or other methods of treatment is necessary, it does not pose an obstacle to the course of the Homeopathic treatment.
